Terms

Client retains exclusive rights to Web site. Legal copyright of all designs, site layout including; but not limited to custom graphics, logo, text, photographs, i.e., remains with PixelsPlus. The prevailing hourly rate of $45 per hour will be applicable when client wishes to retain the copyright.

A non-refundable retainer fee is due at the time the project starts, no exception will be made. Regular scheduled monthly installments are available.

The contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue shall be in the El Dorado County, California superior courts.

Client grants PixelsPlus the right to use the Web Site for promotional purposes and/or to link it from and use in promotional materials as an example of our work.

Client is responsible for any and all fees related to the domain name and Web site hosting.

 

Your Responsibility

Experience has shown us that the best web sites are produced for the lowest cost when these guidelines are followed:

  • Use email. Email is most effective method for communicating with us, particularly because it gives us both a written record.
  • Be clear on what your goals are. Let us know what you want from your Web site.
  • Decide what content you want to present on your Web site. We will be in charge of designing the how and where – the formatting and layout.
  • Deliver content to us in an organized and timely manner. Text should be finalized, proofread and ready for publication. Graphics should be named carefully and sent in an orderly way.
  • Offer clear, helpful feedback to design drafts. Remember that the process consists of 2 rounds of revisions from the initial layout you select.
  • Leave it to us to produce a professional product. Be flexible and aware that time is limited.
